If only it was this easy to get money

MM- "Mummy can we buy that"
ME - "No Molly-Mae we are saving our money for our trip to New Zealand to see Uncle Juffy"
MM - "We can still buy it because we can just ask God for the money, you do this. Dear God, please can we have money for New Zealand, Amen"
ME - "If only it was that easy"

My 4 year old thinks that getting money is easy, all you need to do is ask the machine in the wall and it will happily hand it out. He hasn't really grasped the concept that we have had to put it in the bank first.

I'd love to still be this age, life was so much simpler.

Hmmmm. This may be where I've been going wrong... Praying for money isn't a sure thing - got it! What about wishing really, really hard?

Lol, I remember the days when I was convinced this sort of thing might work, now I pray to the lottery gods :S

Oh she is so cute - and WOW what an amazing trip you're planning! New Zealand is on my wish list of places to see...

Oh we dont pray for it in my house. We go and pick a few bills off of the money tree that my father was always telling me about in the backyard.

Oh the innonence of children lol. I had a great 'role reversal' the other day. I told mum that I wanted to go back to Jersey for a holiday but she told me I couldn't afford it because I was going away on the big trip next year. Two months down the line and when I tell her off for rubbing it in my face that she's going back to Jersey she tells me to go with her. I remind her she told me 'I couldn't afford it' to which she gave me a bemused look and said 'life's too short'. Amen mum.
