My 3 year old loves Spanish, thank you Dora. The trouble is she thinks she can speak Spanish but in reality talks gibberish. Yesterday, as we were shopping in a pretty dense Latino area, a Mexican family stood talking near us. My delightful Molly-Mae sidled up to them and proceeded to shout, oh and I mean shout at the top of her voice "Look mummy they are talking Spanish". "Yes Molly, OK, thank you" I said glancing at the mother and showing a little embarrassment on my face. Molly-Mae turned to them and sung "OLA" again at rather a loud decibel. She decided she would try and hold a conversation with them in her gibberish, they were just looking at her, looking at me, looking back at her.
Can I say "AWKWARD".
