6I was thinking about wardrobe-gate as they are calling the Sarah Palin's spending on her clothing during the campaign, according to the Washington Post "Nicolle Wallace had told Palin to buy three outfits for the convention and three for the campaign trail, with a budget of $25,000".
Please if I had 25 grand - I would be buying a lot more than 6 outfits. That is over $3000 an outfit. Seriously 3 grand for a pencil skirt, a jacket and a pair of shoes. Then she is reported to have spent $150, 000 on extra clothing, including buying silk boxers for the first dude.
What makes me sad is that 'her advisers' thought this was a good idea to spend 25 thousand on outfits. Surely she could have spend $100 per outfit and the rest of the money could have gone to the campaign and secondly, what about all those people that gave money to support McCain - how must they feel, when they learn that their hard earnt money was buying her wardrobe and her husband's boxers. Maybe that would help her appeal if the country could buy her outfit she was wearing at Macy's.
Maybe they thought her spending spree will help the struggling economy.
Oh and one more thing - how could she not know that Africa was a continent - thank goodness she is not running the country.
Sorry for the rant - I just find it incredible.
